David Morrison is a cinematographer and director/DP with thirty years of visual storytelling across independent film, documentary, series television, and commercials.
Trained at the Savannah College of Art and Design, he arrived in Los Angeles through music videos and independent film — a path that forged equal fluency in intimate narrative and large-scale production.
His documentary work has brought him into long-term collaboration with directors including Steve James, Stacy Peralta, Lauren Greenfield, Lucy Walker, and Caroline Kennedy.
He is a member of the DGA and ICG, and is based in Los Angeles.
