wrote and directed “Strange Weather” a film that we made in Mississippi. The relationship between a Director and DP is a close one, you learn each other’s rhythms, taste and develop a short-hand communicative style pretty fast. After a week of prepping I noticed that she and I were remarkably aligned on almost everything creatively, our own personal journeys were similar and even the way we organized ourselves in meticulous and detailed manner. “Are you a Virgo?” I asked her (By all astrological measures I’m a Virgo through and through) “OFCOURSE I AM !” she snapped, “What else would I be?”

To this day Six years later I can’t get enough of Katherine, she’s my Dark Empress and northern star and we’re in sync. Meaning I think of her and she texts 5min later or I meet someone new and they know Katherine from five different directions. We’re all in her web and if you’re not you just don’t know it yet.

She’s my 11:11 sister and completes me in many ways. I’m better for her existence on this planet.
