YESTERDAY

We were on a location scout and drove past this, and I asked our driver to stop so I could go back and explore. I didn’t touch anything and didn’t notice until later that the handle bars were backward which adds to the innocence of the moment. It reminds me of my childhood in Chester, VA, and all the time spent on bikes like this. This image makes me feel like I’m 8 again, and I’m fascinated that a collection of objects in the right light can transport us to previous lives.
