THE ORIGIN (BALLPARK SERIES)

from $125.00

“Jazz” was a word used to describe an energetic and rhythmic style of Baseball, and then it later was applied to the genre of music bursting out of New Orleans. This man with a trombone was standing in the Wrigley Field hallway. I only got 1 shot before it all went away. It’s one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken—pure nostalgia without even trying. Certain places are laden with history and ritual and sometimes crystalize into a non-saccharine moment.

Chicago, IL 2007
Camera: Leica M6
Lens: 35mm Sumicron
Film: Kodachrome
