LONDON EYE

My wife is from London, and we’ve been many times as a family. I have a lot of un-interesting tourist photos, and I’m not sure if this fits into that category. The added element in question is the quality of a Leica lens. In this case, it heightens the mundane into something interesting, the sun breaking through at the right moment is the heart of this moment, and it gives the whole composition life, a heartbeat. Often with a Leica-generated image, I ask myself; is this a good photo, or are you reacting to the qualities of the lens?

I don’t know the answer to this one, but after 15 years, I can’t stop looking at it, so maybe that’s enough.
